Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water filtration process used to achieve almost completely pure water. Water is treated through a semi-permeable membrane to specific requirements, perfect for applications such as speciality coffee machines.
As water purity experts, we offer a range of reverse osmosis systems as well as filters, membranes and spares for keeping systems in excellent shape.

Reverse Osmosis Information
Reverse osmosis works by applying pressure to water so it's pushed against a semi-permeable membrane, the membrane allows pure water molecules through and rejects 97% (on average) of contaminants.
This process removes a pretty wide range of contaminants, including dissolved salts, lead, mercury, calcium, iron, asbestos and cysts. However it will not remove everything, which is why a reverse osmosis system utilises pre and post filtration stages for removing other contaminants such as sediment and chlorine.
