Compact, portable and simple to operate gravity filter system. Features two containers constructed from high grade polished stainless steel, with the upper filled with untreated water which filters down into the lower container, through 2 ceramic filter candles with an additional level of filtration to target heavy metals and specifically lead reduction.
Comes complete with 2 x 7" Ultra Sterasyl® ceramic filter candles, which offer a sub-micron level of filtration as well as lead reduction.
This portable large capacity water filter is ideal for caravans, boats and camping where clean water can be hard to come by. Also, a great alternative if you are not comfortable installing or plumbing equipment yourself. Simply put this on your counter and take it with you wherever needed

Product Description
The British Berkefeld SS2 Ultra gravity filter is a robust system, which is easy to keep hygienically clean due to its polished stainless steel outer shell.
Ideal as a tabletop filter system and extremely popular with disaster relief organisations, campers and for everyday home use. There is no need for power with this system.
The British Berkefeld SS2 Ultra Sterasyl® model holds 8 litres of filtered water. When assembled, the system stands at 500mm tall and 265mm in diameter. The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport/storage and stands at only 330mm in height. The system holds up to 2 ceramic filters, which are included in the system price.
The British Berkefeld SS is an easy to use system - simply pour the water you would like to filter into the top chamber where the ceramic filters are installed. Gravity pushes the water through the filters and clean water is stored in the bottom chamber. If kept topped up, this system can filter approximately 40 litres per 24 hours with the 2 candles fitted.
This Ultra-Filtration version is designed with an additional level of filtration with the higher specification of Heavy Metals and take out toxic lead along with other heavy metals found in the water.
