Aqua Cure N-UV Ultra Violet Sterilisers to be installed on Virgin Trains East Coast
Aqua Cure have won a potentially significant order: for their new range of N-UV ultra violet sterilisers to be supplied to Virgin Trains. Two of the 24 watt versions of the stainless steel steriliser will be specified for each of the diesel fleet's 15 catering carriages on the East Coast Mainline.
All water used for on-board catering appliances will be treated by the systems on the journeys between London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Leeds.

The contract is extremely promising for Aqua Cure, the successful introduction of their U.V. systems on the East Coast Mainline potentially provides an opportunity to quote for the electric fleet when the contract for the supply of U.V. systems comes up for renewal soon.
